I created some print assets for teaching Spanish in middle school grades. To support a lesson plan introducing bilingual STEM vocabulary, I assembled some print assets for students. The theme of this lesson is visiting a science museum, so I created a booklet with colorful photos from a real museum, bilingual text, and a glossary. I made a series of supporting worksheets, including an activity where the students can match the correct labels for each section of a fictitious museum map. These projects were all made with Adobe Illustrator, using photos and vector images.
These are designed to create equity in instructional settings. Any Spanish teacher would be able to download the assets as PDF and either project from their own laptops, or print inexpensively at their own workplaces.
