Video and Motion Graphics: LawFlix Kickstarter

Evan Law is the founder of a program called LawFlix, a multi-media study guide to help law students pass the bar exam. He had already written several legal thrillers, each storyline demonstrating principles that would appear in bar exams. He hoped to make feature movies out of these stories and incorporate it with study groups, practice tests, and other learning techniques.

In this promotional video, he was seeking funds to produce his feature films. He had enlisted the main actor, and we took test footage of him delivering some lines. Knowing the plot of his original story, I created a fictional trailer for an action thriller film that didn’t yet exist. I edited interviews with the creator and his team, created a trailer for the film, added motion graphics and music to make it a compelling sales pitch. All work was done in After Effects, Premiere, and Photoshop.
